hello everyone I have a newbie ? mabey someone has time to answer.
I just purchesd a P229 and was wondering if there was a way to reverse the mag relese from the left to the right? thanks for any replies.

take the grips off.lay the gun down in front of you with the decocker side facing up .look at the mag relese at the 9 oclock position from the trigger there is an indent that you push in.push it in and lift it up .becarefull with the indent catch and the little spring so you don't lose it.as you lift it out there will be another spring a bigger one take it out to .now turn the gun over and take something that will catch on the little tit sticking up on the support plate.tap it out.then put it on the other side.then put the long spring in then make sure it goes in the mag relese.then put the indent spring in and then the indent.nen use a small nail or something to push the indent in.it will click in place and lock then you are done.i got the AGI DVD.in short order i learned how to do a complete break down and back up.the vcr tape is cheaper i have it to but i like the dvd better.if you need any more help let me know its easy after you learn it,thanks,keith
