Reversing the mag release???

I traded into a Sig 228 and found that someone has reversed the magazine release for a left hander. I can find nothing in the manual about how to switch it.

How do I put it back for a right hander?

Glen, Sig recommends the mag relaese be chnaged by a certified Sig Armorer. You wont find instructions on how to do it in the manual. Its simple after you have done it a few times, but tricky if you have never done it. There is a small plunger in the mag release, and if thats not put in correclty, you will have to send the gun to Sig to have them fix it. Find a Sig Armorer and have them switch it for you.

I made the change tonight. If you look the parts over it very intuitive how to change it. Took all of 3 minutes.
