Can an expert (and he is) gunsmith modify my P239 da/sa hammer to dao?

The right person to ask is him. In all likelihood, he can. Most SA/DA autos can be converted by either installing a factory conversion hammer or by removing the SA sear area on the hammer. Talk to your gunsmith. |

Thank you for your input. He says he can do this and I should trust him as he has done excellent work on my P228. I posed the question to see if anyone has had this done or had good reasons not to convert in this manner.
