I have a Smith Mod 625 45 ACP.Its been in the safe for awhile and ive noticed that the rear sight strap which is one piece with the rear sight strechting to just forward of the forcing cone is not laying flat.The forward end is up.What could be the problem and remedy.

Not a problem. Looks awkward but as long as she sights in correctly I would just leave it.
