Any Sigma owners out there? I bought a SW40VE earlier this year and am very satisfied with it.This is my first ever striker type pistol.

Love mine too. It is a stainless steel model SW40VE. It fires just about any ammo I have put through it. Even the Russian stuff.

Had one, a couple of years ago would shoot one round and jam. I sent back to S&W, they kept it for 3 months, when I got it back it was a great improvement, it would shoot 4 rounds without a jam. I gave it to my nephew and told him good luck,I believe he ended up trading it for a bowie knife. You couldn.t Give me another one.

My daily carry is a SW40GVE. I have had some FTF issues but only with crappy ammo. I use the Federal HST ammo for carry and they have never jammed at the range. The only thing I want to do is a trigger job but that is more for comfort than functionality. Although the heavy trigger pull is a nice alternative to an external safety considering there is none on the firearm.

Have put thousands of rounds thru SW40VE I purchased 5 years ago, gentleman sold it very reasonably, said he could not hit target with it. Brought it home and replaced the connector and polished internal parts and feed ramp, cleaned and lubed, trigger pull around 4 pounds, never had a FTF or FTE. Love the gun! Also changed the striker spring!

Holy Old Thread Revival Batman!
I bought an SW9VE in December that year. I still own both of them and, just recently added an SD9VE to the group. I don't think I will buy the SD40VE because I am eyeing the Ruger American .45 ACP pistol.
