| Strange Grip part/accessory?

It's called a "grip adapter." It's designed to keep the knuckle of the second (middle) finger out of the way of the trigger guard as the revolver recoils. Regards, Walt |

These were, and in some cases still are, popular for people who want the smallest grip possible and don't want a replacement "combat" type grip, but want something to fill in the area behind the trigger guard. "Back in the day" before oversized combat grips were widely available this was about the only option. Today the only manufacturer left is the Tyler T-Grip. I havea Daisy BB gun with one fitted. It's removable, but kinda kewl that they did that on a toy gun!

It's called the "Tyler T Grip" and was once very popular...and for a good reason. It worked. They were also available with a finger groove of sorts, but the original was better. |
