EJECTOR REPLACEMENT

Have a Springfield 191A1,like to replace the MIM ejector with a better one.
I have some 1911 knowledge, but have never swapped out the ejector on one before. It's a "pinned" one,not glued, thankfully.Any tricks I need to know, should I loctite AND pin the new one,how do you "fit" one,etc...Thanks,Pete

Carefully use a punch to drift out the roll pin. If the punch should break, you will have a bigger problem. On removing the ejector, try to keep it coming out straight. Cocking or rocking could break a leg and you don't want that to happen. Trial fit the new one before installing a new roll pin or using loc-tite (no need to use both), and make sure that it fits tight to the frame.

Patience is important. Good luck
