Just wondering if anyone has any printed catalogs ect. about Giles guns.

I believe I have one from the '60's. I'll try and find it and let you know the year.

| Ooopps.......
Sorry I was way off. The catalog I have is a Gil Hebard from 1961. Ummm..... well I got the "Gil" of the Giles  ops: . But the catalog is interesting. A Colt National Match was $125.00 and a Clark "Deluxe Custom" cost $164.50. A Shockey "Deluxe Custom" was $187.50 and a Pachmayr Accurized ran $139.75. Ah, if we only knew then........

Thanks for the info. I have that Hebard catalog also. It was my dream book back then. I was only making five bucks a saturday washing cars so 125.oo was a lot of money! Thanks again- Bud

lpd625, I don't have any printed info on Giles but I do have two of his pistols. One in 45 and and one in 38 special. Both have his extended front sight w/ full rib. Very nicely made pistols. According to the paperwork that came with the pistols both were built in 1967. Should you ever find any literature please let me know. Donnie |
