| Jerry Moran and Pythons
One of the master Python tuners mentioned in the same breath as Reeves Jungkind and Fred Sadowski (300 Gunsmith) was Jerry Moran. What ever became of Moran? Did he tune the Pythons to take out the stacking as did Jungkind? Reg |

He just dropped out of sight in the early '80s. I was told that his interest shifted from Pythons to Contenders, but have never seen or heard of a Moran T/C. I got on his waiting list shortly before he quit working on Pythons and bought a new Python to send to him, just sure it would surpass my Tedford (Colt Custom Shop) gun. I sent him an iquiry every year or so, and got back pointed reminders that patience is a virtue. Finally he quit responding, so I gave up and sold the gun. I was shooting IPSC instead of PPC by then anyhow. I kept the Tedford and added a Jungkind when I needed a 4" for IDPA.
