Looking for new P22

Forgive me if I do this wrong, as the name implies I am new to this. I bought a P99 two years ago and due to a busy schedule have not had the chance to shoot much. Now that my schedule is a little lighter, I am looking for a P22 to get back in to it for a little cheaper.

What should I expect to pay for a new P22 in the box, and any ideas for what type of ammo. I am thinking about the 5" bbl model.

Any Ideas

I paid $299.00 for mine, which is about $20.00 - $50.00 more than what folks on the forum seem to have paid. I could have ordered and gotten one from another store for $289.00 but I'd have had to have waited 5 days for it to come in. Alas, there's only 2 gun stores here in El Paso, so there's not much competition to force the price down.
