Walther pp .22

Hello everyone. I inherited a Walther PP in .22LR. I believe it was manufactured in 1983 in Ulm Germany. I am looking at possibly selling this pistol but I have no idea what it is worth, and no idea where to go to find out. I haven't had much luck with Google. The gun has it's original black box, two magazines, two sets of grips, and a target grouping (I believe it was test fired). I am not sure if it has been fired since, and the finish is in excellent condition as it has been a safe queen for the past 30 years.

I also don't know how to post pictures here, and I am probably breaking all kinds of rules with this post somehow. Any advice on the pistol, or proper etiquette in general, is greatly appreciated.

Walther discontinued the .22 PP in 1984.
These usually bring high prices.

Assuming it's in excellent condition, that would be around 90 to 95 percent original finish.
A good starting price would be around $500, and in todays crazy market almost certainly more.

You'd get the highest price by selling it in an auction on Gunbroker.com

Thanks guys

I have been looking at GunBroker a lot. I have seen that a lot of the PPs are going for a lot of money, but since they appear to be mostly very old, or very unique I wasn't sure what mine could bring. I'm also not familiar with how GunBroker works (as in, how much of a cut they take) so I have been reluctant to try and sell it online. Thanks again for the info!

Try this place: Simpson Ltd

They probably have the larges collection of new and used Walther pistols anywhere and might purchase it from you for a good price.

If it's German manufacture it should have a N with year of manufacture on chamber. If it does in the neighborhood of $700(in my area) assuming condition is very good to excellent.
