Understood on your preferences. The accuracy sounds great. What's the velocity on your 180gn GD load?

10mm rifle

I don't own a Chonograph so I don't really know. I was told the Winchester Silver Tip HP was close to 1900 fps and my load is just under that so all I can do is guess 1825 to 1850 fps out of the 16" barrel. Whatever it is it's very accurate. I need to get some hunting in with it to see how it does.

10mm Carbines

High point makes a carbine chambered for 10mm and Olympic arms makes a 2 versions of AR style carbines chambered in 10mm as well. The high point id definitely in the lower more affordable price range but, has a solid reputation, the Olympic arms carbines are priced in the 1,000 - 1,500 dollar range but, you get all of the perks of the AR platform with all of its interchangeable "furniture" and parts; they also have excellent ballistics, range, penetration and stopping power, excellent reviews all wrapped up into a virtually recoilless system.

I thought I'd posted but I have an Olympic Arms 10mm upper. It is a straight blowback design with proprietary magazines.

It shots well; recoils like a .223.

Looking at Olympic Arms website (olyarms.com) their 16" and 18" 10 mm uppers are listed at $721 and change.

I know I'm really late to this thread, but...

...I just bought a 10mmAuto carbine, an Aero Survival Rifle.
Aero Survival Rifle

Have written a bit about it on 10mm-fireams.com...
Received my TNW Aero Survival carbine today... - 10mm-firearms.com

This is NOT a pistol-frame-based carbine but is a stand-alone firearm with 16-1/4" barrel.

TNW has a 10 mm Aero carbine coming out this year. American Rifleman web site has a review of it. https://www.americanrifleman.org/art...urvival-rifle/ Looks like a nice one...
