Everyone: please ask Tanfoglio to produce 12" barrel
Hi, everyone. Some of you may know that I obtained a nice EAA Witness Hunter 10mm (the 6" barrel model) a few months ago. I really like the handgun, but I strongly wish that it had a 12" barrel, to better take advantage of the ballistic potential of this caliber. For hunting purposes, the 12" barrel would still be short enough for reasonable portability and handling. This is not an unusual desire, considering the many long-barrelled hunting handguns now on the market.
I've written to Tanfoglio about this, and they have responded quickly and politely, but they wrote that, before they produce a 12" barrel, they would need demand from more than one guy (me). That's certainly understandable.
So, I'm hoping that all of you would be kind enough to write a request to Tanfoglio to produce the 12" barrel so that guys such as I could install one on our handguns. I know that I'm not in any position to ask a favor from any of you, beings that we don't personally know each other, but I hope that you write to Tanfoglio, that would be good for all of us.
Tanfoglio's e-mail address is [email protected]. Their web site is http://www.tanfoglio.it/informazioni.php. It is more effective to contact Tanfoglio directly in this way. Contacting EAA would probably do no good, because EAA is just the USA distributor for Tanfoglio. Thanks a bunch, everyone.
