| colt super .38
I can get a Colt super .38 stls for $759... customer service says all barrels ramped???? not a bull barrel. NIB mdl 02091 Any thoughts or comments about this particular weapon and would anything be needed other than NIB. Blessings |

Assuming you are talking about the pre-enhanced, stainless .38 Super, I guess it would depend on what your preferences are. There are a seemingly endless number of options available if you want to change things to fit personal preferences, but it could serve you and generations to come just the way it is from the factory. I, personally, prefer to buy used, so you might check out some of the sites like Gunbroker and Gunsamerica.com. If you do plan to modify it, $795 seems steep to me for a base gun. There are some real deals to be had out there, though. If you are thinking modifications, you might compare the initial cost of the Colt versus the current Kimber .38 they are selling. I believe the Kimber can be found for only about $130 more and would easily save you that much on parts just in sights, trigger, and beavertail before you factor in gunsmithing. -RHM |
