| +P in a Star PD .45
What do you Star PD folks have to say about using +P .45 ammo in this pistol? I dont intend to shoot thousands of rounds through it just practice with 50 rounds or so every so often as well as use it as my carry ammo. Thanks for any feedback!! |

| I wouldnt shoot a PD much at all, not more than 500 rds a yr
and even at that small amount of practice, it might not last 10 years, if you don't water down the .45 loads quite a bit. It can probably handle a few score rds of Plus P stuff per year. It's best to do most of your practicing with something else, like an alloy framed Commander in 9mm, to save both ammo costs and wear and tear on your little .45 ccw gun.
