45 hal - I used Winchester white box, Remmington JHP, and my own reloads (two different OALs) and got light primer strikes on all of them. Actually, the light strikes were all showing that the firing pin was hitting the primers noticably off center, at about the 10 or 11 O'clock position on the primer.

Got it sent off to Taurus and I hope it comes back reliable because I was very impressed with the little gun in every other respect.

Im brand spanking new here but Ive been shopping around for a new handgun and Ive narrowed my search to the Taurus 24/7 .45acp (stainless). The shop near me wants $489.00 for it which is just too high. Is this something I have to search around my state for (Ohio) or is there anywhere online to purchase this gun? Im not up to date on current laws regarding online gun purchasing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In most states one can order firearms through discount ON-LINE dearlers who'll ship to an FFL dealer in your area (for like 10% over cost). Try doing a Google search for your area or asking at a local gun club.
My blue .24/7 .45 only cost $389 at a local gun store.

Well I got my stainless 24/7 Pro Sunday at Buckeye Outdoors in Hebron, Oh (3 hours from home) and it was only $369.00! 100 rounds in it yesterday between my dad and I and 100 today myself and so far I'm very pleased. Dad had one slight jam yesterday (because of his fat hands interfering with the slide) and I had one cartridge fail to fire today but another pull of the trigger and I was on to the next round. I absolutely love it.
