Silly Question

Can a .45 GAP be fired out of a .45ACP? I'm not going to try it, but just curious.

Sirs,

I covered this on View From the Hills . . . 357 SIG in a 1911 and .45 GAP. FLAPPIN 9mm.

The way I set a 1911 extractor. . . The extractor holds the case head against the breach face. .45 GAP in a 1911 45 is like 22 shorts in a 22 long rifle.

Thanks
Bill Caldwell

In short, you can, but it's probably not the best idea.
