I am very interested in your experiences with the 9mm, also.

My P7 and I eagerly await this 9mm information as well. Right now, it's carrying Speer 124 +P Gold Dots but that's open to negotiation.

Ha! I joined this forum (after lurking for months) just because I'd LOVE to hear some of your 9mm testing results.

I've found your testing very informative, and very good at finding the truth, and flaws in various designs. You're the most thorough tester outside of the IWBA, and FBI.

While I'd prefer to use a 10mm, I've chosen the HK P7, and so I look for all the 9mm data I can find.

With all of these enlightened people using HK P7s you have motivated me.
Stay tuned, I will set aside some time probably mid week to start scanning pictures and uploading info to put up a new 9mm test article.

Stay tuned....

The fact that you posted indicating a concern about the merits of the effectiveness of the 9MM as a defensive round says it all. If you are losing confidence in your carry caliber, it's time to switch. It looks as if you are a dedicated shooter who takes responsibility for solid training - you will have no problems with the .45.

I'm close to completing my tests, I have been hindered recently by the theft of my digital camera but I have a new Cannon on order and will hopefully wrap things up in the next two weeks.

sorry about the loss, but I'm glad to hear you'll be done soon. I'm salivating already.
