Get a GLOCK and you won't HAVE to work out any bugs!!! They come in the box...bug free!

I've had both and now all I own are 45s in 1911 guise. Too many pressure-problems with the .40, especially in Glocks(Yes, I've conversed at length with Dean Spier).
Shoot both then decide. If you want an idiot-proof gun that you can clean in the dishwasher, buy a Glock. To paraphrase one of my Mentors and Instructors, " If you want to win, a 1911 is the gun you will use."
