Browning A-bolt Question
I am working (stocking) a Browning A-bolt. It is probably an older model (not A-bolt II). There is is a flat piece of metal that seems to go under the rear receiver tang. It has a bend in it. Does it go concave side down or concave side up? Or does it matter.
I think this is just to give the tang a larger enfgagement area in the wooden stock. Does it serve any other purpose? Thanks.
