338 Win Mag ammo

Hello everyone, I have a quick question since I am a novice at the reload game. I am reloading 338 Win Mag, for hunting purposes, with 250gr Sierra MK Long Range Hunter projectiles. My question to the forum is, I currently have the bullet sitting about 3k off the lands and groves, what is a preferred set back for a round of this size and bc. The throat of the gun is a little deep so I am beyond the Saami spec for OA length, but oh well. The gun shot amazing when using a Hogdon powder, I just wonder if a better set back would make it tighten up even more? All input is welcome.
