ser # 76C124XX . .left side of slide (thumb safety side) engraved as follows: Browning Arms Company Morgan Utah & Montreal P.Q.
Made in Belgium

$575 is the price very good appearance, no wear on breach face, extractor nice n sharp and spring tension on it is very good, thumb safety is notaambi and is of the small variety, grip screws nice, grips are red underneath, barrel to slide and slide to frame fit is nicen tightfeed ramp appears to hace that "hump" . .i didn't check the lugs . .i didn't want to take it down and the owners wife was the only one in the store at the time and couldn't do it . . .I can't find the serial number in the ranges listed on Browning "Date Your Gun" page . . . .anybody know when this one was made?, likely no firing pin safety? . .what about the price??

Hello. It sounds like a classic Hi Power commercial pistol made in '76. It has no internal firing pin safety. The price is decent as the gun sounds very clean and lightly-used, if at all. It does have the humped feed ramp.

Best.
