| Stripping a CZ-83 Frame
How difficult is it to detail-strip a CZ-83? I plan on refinishing the slide on my CZ-83, but the frame looks like a tough project. The frame looks like it wasn't mean't to be taken apart. I plan on using GunKote to do the slide. I would like to do the frame in GunKote if it isn't too hard to strip the frame. Thanks ZM |

There is an article in Combat Handguns from years ago that shows how to detail strip the little 83.......the guy who wrote the article actually explained how to do it and said he wouldnt do it again. Its that hard. You may just be better off doing your slide and having a two tone....? Shoot well. |
