It may be your best option, but there's been a mixture of good and bad reviews about PT sights. So you might want to ask around a bit more, before you spend your money.

My experience with them has been mixed: one set dimmed to darkness in about 6 months. They replaced them without question, and that set was going strong a couple of years later. Others have had no problems, and a few have had TERRIBLE problems, and crappy customer service experience.

The company has changed hands recently, I think.

I went to my pistolsmith this morning. He also had Heinie slant-pro sights in stock. Looks pretty neat. I'ts gonna be that or Trijicon, they have a set that requires no gunsmithing.

I just talked to Jerrie Ling at MMC (Same folks own MMC that own PT) and they are still addressing the "dim" sight issues. She says that the previous owner bought some inferior tritium. She says that they are warrantying sights that are 3 or 4 years old all the time. I've had MMC night sights and they were great. I just ordered a set of MMC night sights for the Springfield XD40 Tactical that i'm having customized. Talk to Jerrie - I don't think you'll see the dimness problem in the future.

I'll give it to P-T / MMC, I used to have three guns with their sights, but got tired of sending
them back and forth almost constantly-they always took care of me, but the shipping @ $15
every time kind of killed the savings. Just Trijicons for me now.

I think you'll find things have changed at PT. The only thing I'm ordering is MMC, though. I'm pretty partial to Trijicon, too. There isn't much competion for MMC though. Novak has the Extreme Duty sights now, but I like the MMC better.

I have Trijicons on my CZ75B and they were an easy installation for my gunsmith (he will need to re-use the factory roll-pin and drill the hole in the aftermarket sight, though) and are the brightest night sigthts I have owned. I paid $80 for the Trijicon set, so maybe it is worth it to you to buy a CZ set, sell the rear on Ebay to recover some expense and buy a Novak rear to mate up with it. I believe the 1911 sight will work best for the CZ as the Hi-Power variant is particularly small. My .40 HP actually has a 1911 sight rather than a standard HP sight because it blended better with the wider slide. Just some options on how to make things happen... I would just avoid MMC night sights. I love their adjustable sights, but the night sights fade very fast. I recommend also trying the guys and gals over at czforum.com, they are a wealth of knowledge, along with Mr. Stephen Camp (http://www.pistolsmith.com/viewtopic.php?t=11947) on this forum.

I've never heard anything negative about MMC adjustable night sights. Have you seen any of them go dim? The only problems I've seen have been with their sister company - PT.
