Help with 75B question?
I saw a CZ 75B at a local gun store, and I liked the looks and feel of it and I've heard only good things about the gun. I believe it was at a decent price.
I need some advice. I'm left handed, and will use the pistol only for games and plinking. I would like to fit an ambi safety, so I e-mailed and called CZ-USA, and the answer I got was "that's what the 85 is made for". Here in California, the gun isn't on the "approved gun list", so the 85 is out of the question.
If it can't be modified, what do the other lefties do? Or should I just give up on the gun, and look for another brand?
Thanks in advance,

Well, CZUSA steered you so wrong.......sorry. They are usually much better than that. The thing about the 85 is it has ALL of the controls on the other side.......
The CZ75 SA has the best safety made for a CZ its the IPSC model's ambi safety and ANY gunsmith worth his salt can make the safety work very easily.
Call Mike Eagleshield at CZUSA and run it by him.............

Thanks for your reply. I just got off the phone with Mike at CZ USA and he told me that the EAA Witness ambi safety can easily be fitted to the 75 . BTW, Mike was very helpful, he even told me how to do it or if I was going to take it to a gunsmith, he said to have the smith give him a call if he was having problems. I guess the first person I talked to, didn't want to advise using another company's safety in their gun.
I guess, I'm off to the store to start my 10 day wait.
