| DW 10MM Experimental
I just bought this 10MM from DW Direct at Gunborker.com. I haven't taken delivery yet. However, based on other folks' write-ups, I'm expecting a very nice pistol. I'll report back after delivery with a follow-up. http://img42.photobucket.com/albums/v12 ... gb12_1.jpg http://img42.photobucket.com/albums/v12 ... gb12_2.jpg |

Very nice. The 10mm is such a fun round. Here is a picture of My Razorback 10mm.

| DW 10MM Experimental
I took delivery of a Dan Wesson "Razorback" model ten days ago. I have run about 500 rounds of various handloads through it so far and am quite impressed by both the accuracy and build. Only two vary small problems so far, both of which will be easily remedied. The guide rod was for an unknown reason nickel plated and is flaking off. The people at DW know of the problem and no longer use that supplier. Secondly, and I will be alerting them also, is the white dot in the front sight came out, it was just paint and I will repaint it, possibly a fluorescent color anyhow. Photos soon. Back to the loading bench, Krw |

| DW EXP at the range
The gun shoots great. Several hundred rounds and only one failure to feed. It is very accurate with excellent fit and finish. I only had one problem. It seems that the front and rear sights didn't really match height wise. From around 50 feet, it was shooting about 8-10 inches high (but with a very good group). Because the rear sight was quite a bit taller than the front, there was material to file down to correct the impact point. It shoots great now. |

How's your DW 10mm working these days? I put one on layaway in Virginia and will pick it up in June. However, mine is a blued Pointman model. Seems like DW has a lot of different models and styles, don't it?

Its still working great. The only thing I don't like is the Ambi-Safety. Yes, they do have quite a few different models. I'm anxious to see a commander sized bobtail 10mm. : ![]() |

| Check you Razorback
I just got my new Razorback, and while running the standard checks, I noticed the grip safety was not disconnecting the trigger. I can drop the hammer without touching the grip safety. The trigger stops slightly as it meet some resistance from the safety, but with a miniscule increase in pressure overcomes the safety to drop the hammer. When y'all get your new Razorbacks check whether the grip safety works or not, and find out the safe way.

I apologize for such a long delay. The gun shoots beautifully. I did have a problem with a front and rear sight that didn't match. The rear sight was much too tall. I couldn't stand to wait, so I filed it down myself. I've shot over a thousand rounds through this pistol with almost no problems. the only problem I had was with a 10 round cobramag and I attribute this totally to this magazine. I've used the Metalform that came with it, two Mec-Gar's and even a colt Delta Elite with absolutely no problems. |
