| TAMING A CANNON
Just breaking in a Dan Wesson 445 Supermag. The gun is shooting just awesome with handloads using a Sierra 300gr but it is a handful. I'm using an old leather Past shooting glove and factory wood grips. Its not the recoil that bothers me its the tremendous shock that is well...significant....kinda that hitting- a- cue- ball- with- a- bat feeling. I'm a large person with very large hands. What mods such as grips, compensators or ?? have you tried that helps? I have used muzzle brakes on rifles and perhaps that is the thing to use here but I just didnt know if it would do anything other than reduce muzzle jump which really isnt a problem here. THANKS Gentlemen
