I've owned a number of 1911s over the years by Colt, SA, and Kimber; but I must say I'm really impressed with the way DW puts a 1911 together. In fact I'm so impressed that I've bought two over the last six months and have a third on layaway. The first is a .45 CBOB which is terrific- tightly fitted, reliable, & accurate. The second is a PM7-10. It is typically DW- tightly fitted and well-finished. However, during the first 200 rds. it had several FTFs and several FTEs; then I decided to replace the extractor with a Wilson and have had no failures during the last 150 rds. The one on layaway is a 10mm CBOB which I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you decide to purchase a DW 1911.

I bought a Razorback recently, runs fine no malfunctions, very pleased with it. The Pointman seems identical except adjustable sights, holes in the trigger, and forward serrations on the slide.
