G34 with a fulcrum trigger then. Even Ghost makes a GLOCK connector with an overtravel stop now, but the 34 with it being a 9mm and having extended controls along with a lightened trigger even from the factory, it should be an easy go. GLOCKs can be a hard thing to learn if you're used to a 1911, but even my wife has done it.
I think the 9 or 38Sooper would make a decent platform too, especially with the slim grips on a single stack gun. Just my opinion...
