Steel case and bi-metal bullets

I won't take the chance in my pistols. It's a fact that much of the steel case ammo has " bi- metal " projectiles. AKA steel jackets plated with copper.
Not in my precious target guns. If it was $5 a box I wouldn't shoot that crap. It may shoot well. The Russians and Chinese are more than capable of making reliable ammo. They aren't really thinking of using match guns to shoot it through though. I cringe at the thought of steel jacket going through the bore of one of my high quality barrels. I don't own no clunkers. That cheap ammo has a purpose. If you just want to shoot cheap out of mediocre guns it will work just fine. It is CRIMINAL IMHO to shoot it through a Quality firearm. But there are applications where it is adequate.

4 Best guns for the money and this issue... Sig, Beretta, and the CZ and the Turk clones.

Just sayin..
Not necessarily. I've got 35 to 40 thousand + rounds through two of the Glocks I've rebuilt - All without so much as a hiccup. I've got about 8 or 9 thousand rounds through a third, more recently purchased Glock. It runs well; but it would run a lot better IF I could find a decent steel extractor for it.

I've been gunsmithing for a long time, too; and I agree with everything else you've said. (Except I'd choose CZ, first, before either SIG, or Beretta!)
