| Lorcin .380 problem
Friend's Lorcin .380 doesn't eject rounds. Seems the recoil spring is too stiff. When I put the slide back on, now the firing pin won't cock back! Everything looks ok, but evidently, I'm not doing something right. Anyone know why the firing pin isn't catching in a "cocked" position when I rack the slide? |

Not to be too blunt, but to put it mildly don't scrimp too much on something that your life may rely on. Lorcin is just about the bottom of the barre.l

Either the firing pin is in backward or the the lock pin that retains it after cocking the weapon is in backward. Simple fix. I figured I'd help since the others on here only want to rag on the gun as opposed to actually helping.

I hope he got his lorcin fixed. If he is waiting for parts, it may be another decade or so. My son in law has one given to him as a gag gift. It was gold plated when a guitar player owned it. Since living in Nashville, I have learned that you can explain away ANY aberration by attributing it to a guitar player. Sorry Wild Bill............... |

A guy gave me a Lorcin once, because he owed me 10 dollars. I figured if it would fire, it was worth a sawbuck. It fired twice and the extractor flew off. I sold it to another guy for 10 bucks who wanted it for parts. I was a little surprised to find somebody who was actually willing to work on one. | |

Lorcin isn't actually a gun it's a boat anchor or a hammer take your pick. What self respecting man would relie on a Lorain to defend his life?
