| ask scout
Now that I have my FS stock on the Scout I think I need to bed the barrel. My reason is that the Scout only has one stock screw because its short and doesn't ride very far up the barrel. But the FS stock uses another attachment from a bolt that dovetails to the barrel. The Scout does not have this dovetail and it would not be practical to have on put in. So I'm thinking a bedding job is in order. The problem is I've never bedded one and don't know a lot about it. Any one have a step by step method?
