Help on sd9ve trigger install
 

Today I installed the apex trigger and spring kit into my sd9ve (unsuccessfully). When I put the trigger pin back in, I did not get the pin through the trigger spring, so now the trigger is not engaged. I neglected to test for function before putting the slide back, and now I am unable to field strip the gun. Any suggestions as to how to strip the gun so I can fix the trigger? Thanks!

You may need to see a pistolsmith or even send it in to S&W.
Too often a lose part in the frame jams the slide so it can't be removed without some difficult work.

What does "unable to field strip" actually mean? Where, specifically, are you having a problem?
