| Pistolsmith for AMT backup .45
Hello, I am looking for a pistolsmith that can lighten up a trigger pull on my AMT backup 45. I like the gun for conceled carry but the trigger pull is so heavy that it renders the gun almost useless as far as accuracy. I don't care where he is as long as he is good. Thanks. |

I, too, am looking for a 'smith that perhaps "specializes" in AMTs? Backups, Automags, etc. Anybody out there? Also, does anyone know of the existence of aftermarket grips for the large frame Backup models, preferrably rubber? I have not been able to find where Pachmayr, Hogue, etc ever made anything for them. Does anyone else know? I am a buyer if anyone has them..... Thanks for your time, |

Can't say for sure but American Pistolsmith Guild page for A. Tanaka shows he works on AMTs. See: http://www.americanpistol.com/guild_member.php?mbrid=66 |

Sparks, Sorry for the error. The correct site is http://recguns.com/sources/IIIC2aa1.html. you could also go to the site recguns.com and try to track it down, but that should not be necessary now. Brad |

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sparks, Sorry for the newest error. The link will not work for me either even when it is typed correctly. I have tested the following: go to www.recguns.com, click on the facs link, you'll see an index, just follow the outline form to the location, IIIC2aa1, and the gunsmiths name will be in that section on AMT Brad |
