I bought a H&K USP .45 full size a couple years ago. I like it alot. It is accurate, and smooth with it's 2 recoil springs. It seems to kick less than my P7M8. I have a Tactical length barell for it from Jarvis Custom. It is not threaded. It has conventional rifling so is very accurate with lead wad cutter Match rounds. The USP .45F takes a medium or large hand for a good grip. Good Luck in your quest.

i was wondering if there was a way to mount an internal laser site onto the USP, i know there are rails to mount external lasers... but those and holsters dont go good together

buy it dude, 38000 rounds of major loads, 3000 45 super, no jams no problems
if you want to shoot 45 super buy a 18 pound recoil spring and c clips that will retain the recoil spring. it will break after 1000 plus of 45 super

I own a tactical, and remain as impressed today as the first day I shot it. It is accurate, reliable, and well built. I can't imagine wearing one on my hip, though.

Be well!

I purchased an HK USP Tactical 45 for my 21st birthday in Aug and it is a solid pistol. You won't be disappointed.

My only complaint has been the lack of an ambi switch and tritium sights. I know these are available aftermarket or as options, but it seems like they are pretty basic features on a defensive pistol and for the money should come standard.

I say go for it--be different, everyone buys Glock or 1911.
