Wanted to buy..........HK USP Compact barrel in .357 SIG. Prefer an HK but would consider a Bar-Sto as well.

Any troubles with the non HK barrels??
Also does one have to have them fitted? And if so who would you recommend?

Anyone experience problems from firing hard cast lead bullets in a .40 S&W USP? I bought a compact USP today in forty. Really wanted a .357 but just couldn't find one locally. I have a few thousand hard cast lead loads that have worked in two SIG's flawlessly for a few years. I would like to use them in the HK, any comments??

Thanks all in advance........ Frank N.

If you're planning on shooting lead, the Bar Sto barrel would be your best bet. The HK polygonal barrels just don't like lead...it builds up & eventually will cause some sort of catastrophic failure.
