Laser Sights for P9 or other Kahr's

Has anyone had experience with any of the available laser sighting products?

I am thinking it would be nice to have a laser on my carry/home defense weapon (night time likelihood?), but don't like the looks of the CT. It appears that the laser body would interfere with my grip. However, I don't have a rail, so rail mount (LaserMax) cannot work.

Any thoughts - pro, con, or just your thoughts on lasers in general, etc.

Thanks,

frjeff

Yes, in fact that is one I was considering. However, I wonder how it feels where it attaches to the front side of the grip?
Do you have this on your Kahr? No problems?

Thanks,

Re: Laser Sights for P9 or other Kahr's

Sorry - no, I don't have it on my P9, nor do I have much experience beyond testing them on the blue display guns. Personally, I like lasers that are in-line with the bore of the barrel much more than a side/grip mounted laser. If I were in the market for a laser for my Kahr, that's the one I'd probably buy...

I have no use for laser sights on any handgun or for that matter any firearm that I might have a need for, self defense, plinkin' or whatever, one reason bein' You violate a lot of the basic rules of pistol shootin' when You watch the target more than You do the front sight.....I'm okay with any disagreement or rebuttal any has concernin' My previous statement, if You like lasers and theywork for You...Use them

In transitions ( from target to target ) I can sometimes get close to 1/10 second and if I'm in the groove generaly hang around 2/10 of a second with good hits...I do this by readin' the front sight, callin'' the shot , movein' My eyes to the next target before I move My pistol or maybe I should say My eyes are on the target before the pistol gets there, I can't say when the pistol starts movein' and I don't really care, if I pick up the A zone the pistol brakes or stops, I pull the trigger and the timer says 2/10, I'm okay....I'd like to be faster but bein' limited by findin' time to pratice that is about the best I can hope for

I also want My splits to be 2/10 second or under ( time between shots on one target ) I do this by readin' the front sight, if My grip is right the front sight falls back in the rear notch I'll be around 2/10....I can't do this by lookin' for a red dot on whatever the target may be......

Tommy Bolton has had much more time workin' with laser eguipted weapons than I have....We've left Our last discussion on this in disagreement.....Maybe He will throw in His DOS CENTAVOUS
