Kahr MK9 questions

Hi, new to the forum and new to Kahr. Glad to be among you. I just picked up a Kahr MK9 on an auction site for $420. Seemed to good to pass up.

Onto my questions -

Gunsmith: Can anyone recommend top shelf gunsmiths for the Kahr? I'm familiar with the 1911 crowd of gunsmith, but know nothing about who does work on Kahrs. I'll be looking for heavy dehorning, front strap checkering, potentially trigger tuning. Eventually, I plan to have this coated in Ionbond, probably from Springer Precision.

Elite trigger: My MK9 has the serial number beginning in GC44xx. This website (Kahr Serial Number History - Glock Talk) indicates that MK9's made under this serial include the "elite trigger" and were born in 2008. Does anyone know if this is true RE the elite trigger for that serial, and how does the elite trigger differ from the non-elite?

Holster recommendations: Can anyone recommend holsters for the Kahr? I'm familiar with Sparks, Rosen, Kramer, but don't know if any of them build holster for the Kahr.

Sights: Are there popular Combat/CCW sights for the MK9? Not sure I'll keep the stock.

Thanks, hope you don't mind my many questions!

In order:

Kahr Arms does some custom work, so you might contact them to see what they can do, or who they might recommend.

Your gun should have the Elite trigger.
The Elite trigger gives a slightly shorter trigger pull than the original trigger which is still; used on the NYPD K9 model.

Kahr Arms sell a number of holsters for the Kahr's, made by top makers.
Other than that, most of the better makers now make holsters for the Kahr.

Look under accessories for holsters and some custom sights.
Night sights are popular as are the "big dot" type.
Due to the very tight, pressed fit of Kahr sights, you'd be smart to let them install any customer sights.
