Dane,

I am not a professional. I am not a gunsith. I do NOT provide service or parts to the gun industry. My web site only provides (how to) information to correct a small flaw when using JHP ammo in the P-32 mag.

Please understand that I am NOT a professional. Some people will tell you that I am not that bright. I only differ with about half of those folks.

However, I will remove the web site address from my profile.

Howdy... just found this forum today!
I suspect "Flyer" is someone I've tangled with about Kel-Tecs on one gun forum or another, and came here to impersonate me.
I'M Flyer. Click here to see my website, which I'm just beginning to put together.
I'm also one of the three owners of www.ktrange.com , a forum about Kel-Tecs and other firearms.
Anyhow, enough of that. If possible, I'd ask that I be allowed to have my actual screen name back... "Flyer, Airborne" is simply one I used because my real one had been taken.
Enough of that.
Here's a pic of a unique Kel-Tec P-3AT, with a Glock G-30:

This particular pistol I modifed to fire the .32 NAA cartridge. It's a REALLY impressive sight when shooting indoors; the flash and report approach that of a very hot 9mm, or even a .357!
You'll notice the backstrap is different: rather than add any extensions to enhance grip surface/controllability, I crafted an extended backstrap. It adds nothing to the gun's overall dimensions, yet at the same time makes it far more controllable, and gives an added bonus of increased trigger reach.
A normal P-3AT usually requires your trigger finger being used at the first joint, and as the hammer drops after a lengthy pull your finger tends to follow-through with a solid push to the triggerguard, sending your shots a bit to the left (if you're right handed).
This extension permits proper placement of the finger, on the pad... I find that accuracy is enhanced greatly by this mod.
Another Kel-Tec for your amusement, brought about by requests by many members of the fairer sex:

A Chrome P-32 with a nice pink grip!
KT used to make pink grips, but lack of demand caused their discontinuation. I devised a method of dying an Ivory-colored grip with Rit dye that completely permeates the polymer; it can't wear off or chip because it's inside the material itself!
Info on how to dye your grips is provided at my forum, for anyone who might be interested, as well as other modifications that I've developed to enhance reliability and feeding.
I guess that's all for now.
Glad to be here... this is a nice forum!

My suggestion, again, is read the rules and register as a professional if as indicated by your first post you actually are.

I really hate these kind of introductions.

Kel tec owner here.....

It is my understanding that the smaller Keltec pistols were primarily designed as back up pocket guns for LEO's and for personal defense weapons for citizens with CCW.

As an ordinary citizen I have found myself using my P3AT in both roles.
Overkill as a backup for an ordinary citizen maybe, maybe not.

It amazes me how many people consider any gun that doesn't cost several hundred or even thousands of dollars to be junk almost by default.

Well it just ain't so! Keltec seems to have a few management type difficulties but they are working on them. They do have top notch customer service.

The main reason I proposed this forum on this site is because of the number of "Professionals" here. Several creative individuals over at Ktrange and KTOG have been working on improvements for these little pistols. Apparently though nobody has come forward willing to do the work on a pay for basis for some of us unqualified owners like me.

It may take a while for the Keltec owners to get up the nerve to show up here.

One thing is fer sure though. Many of those Kel Tec owners are like me.
They also own more expensive mainstream guns and could become potential customers if treated with respect.
