| kimber attack
I don't think iv'e ever seen so many people basically attacking kimber 1911s.......wow ...is this a tactical move from the competition. Does anybody have anything positive to say about kimbers or is it that everyone expects to much out of a gun because of the price they have to pay for them. I have seen the same problems with many other handguns and i dont mean to be cocky but maybe everyone should quit crying about every little problem they have. Sorry if i have offended some of you but im getting sick of hearing the crying.

hey if its good enough for marine special ops !! why not? I also like the raptor even if it is a bit overdone. I picked the tactical pro 2 basically because its bushingless and im lazy, i dont like to remove the bushing every time i clean it.

I have two . . . a "Warrior" and a TLE/RL II s/s, both are new and both are very accurate and reliable. No problems at all. I think they're great. RC |

I have owned good and not so perfect Kimbers. My 4" SS Compact has had some growing pains related to the external extractor and RC springs. Since installing a new wolfe 4" Kimber RC spring and XP extractor spring it is now alsmost perfect. 1000+ rounds now with 0 malfunctions. My only bitch about this kimber was the factory springs. |

I have a CDP Pro and a Eclipse Target Model that have both been 100% reliable for me. My nephew bought a Eclipse Custom with new external extracter and has had many extraction problems. His rear sight has also drifted to the left all on its own. I guess sometimes it is the luck of the draw.
