After a bit more than four years and 15½K rounds, last Saturday the MH Pin sheared in half on my Custom Classic. It was an original Kimber part. Local smith who had a spare that afternoon siad he had never seen this happen before. Has anyone seen this before? Denny |

Could this have been a MIM part? Years ago just replacing the pin destroied the plunger tip on a Classic. I will never trust a MIM part again. Calthrop

Calthrop, I think it was because it looked liked "Pot Metal" inside. I think I will replace a few more MIM parts. Denny |

Which parts are MIM? The best replacements are made by who? Or should I say Dane and who else?
