LE Duty 1911's
I have been wondering, for those of you who work for agencies that allow you to carry a 1911 style pistol what does your agency allow as far as work done on the gun. Barrel replacement, trigger jobs, sights, parts, etc...I know there was a similar post but I am just comparing our agency's policy to others. Thanks.

Not only is it allowed, but I encourage it! Magwells are only a detriment if you are carrying concealed. I figure that if someone's mag needs to be changed, we are already in deep doo-doo, so I would prefer to get the weapons charged up ASAP. Anything that helps accomplish this is not a bad thing!
