Back in the day when we actually needed a bottle opener...and I didn't have one on hand...I always just used the lanyard loop and a partially inserted magazine. Never saw the need to look for any more.

This is not something I would recommend for your Ed Brown Executive Target, but the gap between a locked back barrel and dust cover works. If you were a young thirsty GI forty years ago, that WWII Ithaca you were issued could stand the abuse. Could be one more? |

New Darlin's everywhere.....Ran into an old SWEETHART few days back , long story short She'd heard I was out chasein' again , I told Her I was wonderin' just how hard the datein' game was gonna be to get into...She said , "Wild Bill , can You drive at nite" , I said "Hell Yes , You know I can...She said ' "Don't worry Darlin' If You can drive at nite You can have a HAREM" Let Us see....I took on a new Const Supt job ( I can make more money easier playin' Const Supt than I can buildin' guns and knives) still workin' on My Farmall Super A pullin' in the old tractor pulls,(naturelly massagein' the rules) playin' and sangin' with the Wild Bunch....Tryin to get in enough pratice to stay competive in USPSA, I still check in here just not much time to answer questions....Hell Cohee You and John T have all the answers anyway AND HEY ANYWHERE YOU CAN HOOK A BEER CAP ON A FLAT PLACE ON A 1911 WILL OPEN A BEER BOTTLE...FRONT END OF SLIDE...TRIGGER GUARD....HOOK THE FRONT SITE....WHERE I WAS JARHEADS DRUNK 3.2....U S ARMY AIRBORNE DRUNK 6.O....JARHEADS STILL COULDN'T HANDLE IT....HAHAHAHA John T Wild Bill |
