| New Safety (don't fit)
Got my new safety from Mak.com today. The new one has a pin on the inside surface that looks like it should fit into a hole in interior of the slide. My old safety had nothing more than a slight bump. The place on the slide where the "bump" went is only s slight indentation. Do I have to remove a portion of the pin until it fits and I can rotate the slide into the correct position ? regards....rewster |

| There is hope for the dumb !
I put the slide under a glass and looked it over real carefully. The pin on the old safety had broken off in the hole. It took a little work to get the piece out of the hole but I did. Installed the new safety and everything works great !! Sometimes I amaze myself !!!! ![]() regards....rewster |
