| Just bought German makarov / problem
Well I just bought what looked to be a beautif makarov, got home to field strip and slide would not come off, after hours of google research I believe the barrel is buldged No clue how to proceed... |

At this point I'd recommend seeing a professional gunsmith. Problems could be a bulged bore, but you should be to easily see that by looking down the barrel. If you see what looks like a dark ring around the bore, it's possibly bulged. Another problem could be a recoil spring installed backward. One end of the spring is closed so it's a snug fit over the barrel ans the other end is larger. The small end prevents the spring from shooting off and getting lost. If the spring is installed backward the small end is facing toward the muzzle and can cause the slide to stick and not move far enough to the rear. Here's a complete ordnance manual.
