Hey guys, I'm looking for full cap mags for the p15-40... the only one I can find is 70 bucks and that is a lot for a standard capacity double stack magazine... Could anyone tell me if a p16 mag will fit in and work properly in a p15? They look similar but they may be longer since the p15 is the compact version.

Re: P15-40 Magazine
16-40 mags should fit and function just fine... the mag. catch is the same relation to the feed lips no matter the capacity of the mag... Just like a single-stack 1911, where any mag will fit a shorter frame.
the *but* here as in a single-stack 1911 is that you may overstuff the mag if the slide is locked back... on a para I don't know if this is a possibility or not.... On a SS1911, if you shove a longer body mag in it can overshoot the catch, and end up in the ejection port. The Para having a double stack mag with a taper at the top may bind up in the frame before this happens - but I don't know that for sure.
I have a 16-40, and when I needed extra mags, all I could find was a 14-45 mag (I needed one "right now, have a match tomorrow" situation) a little feed lip tweaking and it functions perfect! ... Just rattles more than a .40 mag.
