mec gar p14 magazine

Hi folks,

Brand new here, to 1911, to Para-Ordnance and to the .45 caliber. Just seeking a little guidance. Are MecGar hi-cap magazines good to use in my new P14*45? Are they as good quality as the stock magazines? Functionally? Durable? I hear they are much more affordable compared to stock.

Mec-Gar actually make "factory" magazines for a good many gun makers and the same magazines under their own name.
It's possible they're the actual maker of Para-Ordnance factory magazines.
They are usually top quality.

However, only a test in YOUR specific gun can determine if they'll work properly.

Mec Gar makes nice magazines but Para mags are "Para specific". 1911 mags don't work in them...let me qualify that...They don't work in mine.

Dont use anything other than the factory Para mags. Have not seen anything that really works as well. With that said try CDNN, they are always having sales on the factory Para widebody mags. Para-Ordnance Mags
