I've had some good Para's but I'm not a huge fan of double stack 1911s. I've had 2 P16-40s that were phenomenal guns but I traded both for single stack 1911s...

Ditto, NGIB. They just don't feel right to me after 50 yrs of shootin' a single stack. It's what's kept me away from Paras. I believe the SA Longslide is a single stack. Reviews that I've read of the SA LS are somewhat disappointing accuracy wise. They are WICKED cool lookin' however, IMHO.......

Kinda looks like the Super Hawg I've been working on. (Single stack, of course)

I purchased the dang thing without a barrel and small stuff. Have since bought a Clark ramped and am in the process of fitting it.

(After I clear off some other things first.)

Pics and range report will be coming.

My long slide actually shot quite low as it came from the factory. I could adjust the rear sight enough but I chose to file down the front sight to get it to POA. While I've never bench rested it, it's at least as accurate as the other 1911s I have - and yes it does look cool...
