| Lost safety plunger
Lost my firing pin safety plunger on my Para LDA Carry. Will a colt 80 series fit ? All I can find, but looks different.

It looks the same on the schematics, but most of the drawings are not clear enough to be sure. Try a colt and see if it fits. You can buy genuine Para parts from Brownell's. They list the plunger. Part 15: http://www.brownells.com/schematics/...DA-sid791.aspx |

Before trusting it to be a correct fit, dry fire a few times then disassemble the slide and check the plunger and the firing pin for any signs of damage. These plunger assemblies and the levers in the frame can be out of correct adjustment slightly and you'll get denting and damage of the plunger and the firing pin. If you see ANY damage or signs of interference it does NOT FIT and you need to get the correct parts. |

Apparently Sarco bought out the Para inventory. I'd call them for parts.
