Refinished Clark Customs Meltdown Colt Compact
My Compact Meltdown was in dire need of refinishing. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it until I bought a set of stag grips to fit it and then I knew it needed a high polish blue. The work was done by Dietrich Gunsmithy in Otis, ME, in addition to the polish and blue they checkered the front strap, fitted a S&W checkered MSH, removed the roll marks from the slide, recrowned and polished the muzzle, and fitted a brass insert to the front sight.
I think it came out pretty good, what do you think?

Vzerynice. There's an Officer similar to that in the NRA museum. Not a Meltdown, but the bluing and grips are similar. High polish n all. Loos good, but your looks better. I love Clark guns.
